Pets Come First facilitates the placement of stray and unwanted animals into loving homes. Their dedication to responsible shelter management and work towards eliminating overpopulation of homeless, stray, and abused animals, simply made our hearts’ throb. To help Pets Come First honor their mission, Dalysite Design rebuilt their existing website utilizing the power of WordPress. The homepage features a rotation of the most recent adoptees. The CMS allows the many volunteers to easily update content individually, eliminating the confusion of ‘who did what’. They can quickly post fundraisers, emergency alerts, educational content and recent rescues. Most importantly, the entire process of accepting and adopting out animals was streamlined using dynamic forms integrated with paypal–simplifying the entire process. Lastly, we utilized social media to help promote the work of this non-profit, with ease.

A 1998 accident turned Stephani Lindsey’s world upside down and delivered her into the welcoming arms of yoga. For Stephani, yoga is learning to live her life more fully and to share the abundant gifts of this practice with others. She gratefully offers teaching of Anusara yoga as well as the therapeutic touch of massage therapy. To promote her many gifts, we created a logo that expresses the words “open heart” by merging the symbol of the heart into the blossom of the lotus flower. (The meaning of a lotus flower ranges from divine purity and enlightenment, as in Buddhism, wealth, as in Hinduism, to rebirth, as in the ancient Egyptian religion.) The vibrant color palette was chosen to express the high energy that Stephani imbues. The website is built as a CMS using WordPress. It enables Stephani to edit and add content, keeping class and workshop announcements current. A blog offers a way for her to reach her students when not in the studio. The Center for Biological Diversity works through science, law and creative media to secure a future for all species, great or small, hovering on the brink of extinction. We were approached to create a logo for a public awareness campaign titled: Save Our Bats. It was founded by the Center for Biological Diversity to save bats at risk from a fast-moving, devastating new illness called white-nose syndrome. The logo also appeared on websites, facebook, email marketing campaigns, as well as various signage.

Anyone who had the pleasure of loving a pet, knows the pain that is felt with their passing. The Pet Cemetery of Tucson has been the final resting place for beloved pets since 1986. Their experience in understanding the needs of someone having to make such difficult decisions truly shine through. Nestled beneath the Catalina mountains, their setting offers great comfort and ease of mind. It was essential that the website communicate their sensitivity and genuine care. The color palette is soft with earth hues, evoking a peaceful calmness. A photographer was brought on site to capture a ceremony, the grounds with it’s many sculptures, staff, and memorial items for purchase. WordPress powers this website and CMS enables the staff of The Pet Cemetery of Tucson to edit and add content, keeping memorial items up to date, and SEO friendly.
