Pets Come First facilitates the placement of stray and unwanted animals into loving homes. Their dedication to responsible shelter management and work towards eliminating overpopulation of homeless, stray, and abused animals, simply made our hearts’ throb. To help Pets Come First honor their mission, Dalysite Design rebuilt their existing website utilizing the power of WordPress. The homepage features a rotation of the most recent adoptees. The CMS allows the many volunteers to easily update content individually, eliminating the confusion of ‘who did what’. They can quickly post fundraisers, emergency alerts, educational content and recent rescues. Most importantly, the entire process of accepting and adopting out animals was streamlined using dynamic forms integrated with paypal–simplifying the entire process. Lastly, we utilized social media to help promote the work of this non-profit, with ease.
