A 1998 accident turned Stephani Lindsey’s world upside down and delivered her into the welcoming arms of yoga. For Stephani, yoga is learning to live her life more fully and to share the abundant gifts of this practice with others. She gratefully offers teaching of Anusara yoga as well as the therapeutic touch of massage therapy. To promote her many gifts, we created a logo that expresses the words “open heart” by merging the symbol of the heart into the blossom of the lotus flower. (The meaning of a lotus flower ranges from divine purity and enlightenment, as in Buddhism, wealth, as in Hinduism, to rebirth, as in the ancient Egyptian religion.) The vibrant color palette was chosen to express the high energy that Stephani imbues. The website is built as a CMS using WordPress. It enables Stephani to edit and add content, keeping class and workshop announcements current. A blog offers a way for her to reach her students when not in the studio. In addition, it offers a quick and easy way for visitors to “Like” the content on each page – using the power of social media to market her work through her website.
